In a quiet, unspectacular way, Rob Kootz began his wiffleball career this past March. This accomplished martial artist and competitive cheerleader does things the old fashioned way: with dignity and class.
No player since the legendary Phil Casey (1996-2000) has combined such sheer strength and mental acuity like Rob does. After having played in his first 7 games, Rob found himself in the Top 6 in the following offensive categories: home runs, RBI, grand slams and base on balls. Not a bad listing of categories.  In fact only two players had walked more than the keen-eyed Kootz (DiCesare and Zaccara).
In his plans, Rob would also like to develop into one of the game's top fielders and pitchers as well. But most things take time and this wise young man realizes this.
Rob is one of many rising young stars from Beacon, New York and the future looks bright for this guy. Yet, in the meantime, Rob is determined to do his part to help his team, the Black Knights, win in the same steady fashion that has taken him so far already.
