The 1990's saw many great pitchers: Alan Lewis, Steve Chapin, Brian Gordon and Chris Coddington to name a few. But
time marches on and gradually the names and faces on the leaderboard begin to change. New names have emerged over the last
24 months. Players like Jimmy Moloney, Timmy Davis, Derek Mercado and Matt Friedenberg are among the new aces of the
Wombat Wiffleball league. Just last year Moloney set the single season KO mark with 142 and Davis broke the IRA (inning
run average) mark with a stellar 1.42. Friedenberg won his first three career decisions in 2004 and hopes to zero in on his
first Cy Young Award in 2005. Some decent run support from his teammates may be all he needs.
