Arguably the most successful dartball team in league history, the Little Britain Grange has reached dartball's highest pinnacle - the World Series - 24 times and has captured the spring classic a league record fifteen times.

One of the original charter teams in the league, we have a history that's rich with achievement and longevity. The Grange joined the Good Fellowship Dartball League back on January 4th, 1937. Over the years we have had team members play an important role in the life and success of the Good Fellowship Dartball League as officers and captains and with many serving on various committees. Tom Marcinak captained the team for many years, and then served as President of the league from 1980 to 2005 - a total of 25 years. Dick Coleman is the captain now and has presided as the League Secretary from 1963 to the present, for a total of 46 years. We presently have six players who have been elected into the Hall of Fame: Tom Marcinak (1977); Dick Coleman (1985); Frank Coleman (1986); Dan Coleman (1995); Jack Decker (2006) and Vinnie Gordon (2008). A milestone that I was not aware of until Chris DiCesare mentioned it was that I am the longest serving active Hall of Fame member still playing this wonderful game of darts. I was inducted in 1985 and I just couldn't believe that statement.

Since 1966 we have been to the World Series twenty times with a 14-6 record. The twenty-four appearances and fifteen titles mentioned up top reflects all of the years going back to the 1945-46 season, the oldest records I could find. Through the sixties and into the early 2000's, the three Coleman brothers and Tom Marcinak made up the core of the team by compiling a total of 197 years of combined dartball service! Now with Tom M. not playing because of health issues, it's the four Coleman's (Dan's son Ronnie has just completed his 16th year) that make up the team's current core. We remain a team that usually finishes near the top of the standings, and often posts the league's highest scoring offense.

As for this year, we kind of picked up where we left off last year, when we won the World Series. We had another first place finish and once again led the league in scoring 486 runs. The Flames were very tough as they held onto first place through the first 17 weeks, but in week 18 we took two of three games from them to move into first place by one game. We held onto first place through the end of the season. With their years of service on our club listed behind their names, the following players comprise the roster for LBG: Matt Dunn (2); Dick Coleman (48); Dan Coleman (48); Jim Lulves (16); Jack Decker (2); Frank Coleman (47); Ronnie Coleman (16); Vinnie Gordon (4); Tyson Dieckmann (4); Bill Gould (3); Jeff Dunn (6); Dave Coulter (2); Honorary charter member Tom Marcinak (51) and in memorium: Eric Kruger (12).
